Consistent or Constant?

I’m sitting here, its a Friday and I’m done with classes for the day.  Something I’ve been thinking about is in regards to relationships.  Would you rather something be consistent or something be constant?

The terms are this: The consistent relationship is ALWAYS good, but you only see that person on a monthly basis.  The constant relationship is not as good as the consistent relationship, but you see that person much more often (maybe 2/week).

My take on it is that I would rather have something that is consistently good than something where you are just going through the motions.  It’s important to me to not give up something that is making me so happy, even though there are those days (or weeks) where you talk very little.  I would choose consistent every time.
