My Sixth Sense
Everyone has a unique sixth sense, some abnormal ability that they just know something to their core. I have two- one is the ability to know when a speed trap is ahead. I just know, before people even start braking. My other, and more impressive sixth sense is knowing when people are upset.
The problem is: most of the world is upset a majority of the time. I look around and just know so many people are upset. So many people are unhappy with what they are doing, waiting for the end of the day, living for the weekend.
I don’t know why people could be so happy, it’s pretty much amazing to be alive. Sure there are those times where I’m upset and things aren’t going my way. That happens to everyone. But I guess after losing my Dad, I realized that it’s important to look at every day as an opportunity.
The lesson the learn is that every day presents a new challenge. There are those who will complain, and those who will just do what they need to and get through it. The real winners are those who look at the challenge as an opportunity and love every second of it.
